Franck Muller proudly presents the Vanguard Damascus Steel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, an exclusive collection marking the 70th anniversary of Sincere Fine Watches. Limited to only 28 pieces, this collection highlights Franck Muller’s mastery in haute horlogerie, pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship with innovative materials.
The Vanguard Damascus Steel is crafted using a unique alloy of two austenitic stainless steels formed through advanced powder metallurgy. Known for its strength and corrosion resistance, the Damascus steel combines two types of stacked steels in a patented process that enhances shock resistance and eliminates impurities, allowing the movement to function unhindered.
Featuring a skeletonized movement with bridges entirely crafted from Damascus steel, this timepiece is framed with a rose gold flange and matching accents on the hands. Each piece undergoes a specialised acid bath process, revealing a striated pattern that reflects the precision and craftsmanship the brand is known for. Precision techniques such as mirror polishing, beveling, and diamond polishing bring out the intricate details of the design, showcasing Franck Muller’s meticulous attention to detail and exceptional watchmaking skills.
Enhanced by a black alligator leather strap with rose gold stitching, the Vanguard Damascus Steel Platinum Jubilee Edition is a harmonious blend of technical sophistication and refined elegance. The use of Damascus Steel was a deliberate choice, symbolising the enduring bond between Franck Muller and Sincere Fine Watches.
