Franck Muller is proud to stand as the official timepiece sponsor for The Colorado Grand, the world-famous vintage car rally. This prestigious event took place in the stunning lanadscapes of Colorado, from the 11th to 16th September and welcomed more than 100 vintages cars.

The Colorado Grand is an annual charity showcases a remarkable collection of 100 pre-1960 “Cars of Distinction” and embarks on an journey, spanning over 1000 miles in the back roads of Colorado’s scenic back roads. The rally’s epic 5-day adventure concludes back in the picturesque town of Vail.

As a homage to this remarkable event, Franck Muller has crafted four distinctive models, each limited to 34 pieces only in honor of the 34th edition of The Colorado Grand. Each of the these four timepieces pays tribute to amazing vintage car that will be available exclusively through selexted retail partners in North America.

The Vanguard Racing Colorado limited edition draws its inspiration from the automotive art, incorporating technical details of vintage car into each timepiece. The exquisite self-winding movement is housed in the iconic Vanguard case. The dial features bold hand-painted numerals and a seconds counter placed at the heart of the timepiece.

Cars aficionados will find themselves captivated by the meticulous craftsmanship showcased in these exceptional timepieces. Drawing inspiration from the automotive industry, the watch dial displays a finely reproduced “perlage” decoration at the center of the watch dial.

Inspired by vintage car counters, the second counter introduces an additional complication to the watch. A dual seconds reading is achieved through the incorporation of an extra seconds hands, thoughtfully crafted with the color palette of the Colorado Grand logo. While the perfectly integrated strap features the same elements as the old cars.

With this disctinctive collection, Franck Muller not only crafts exceptional pieces for the Colorado Grand but also holds the distinguished honor to be the one and only watch sponsor for this race.
