Franck Muller Geneve celebrates the 115th anniversary of the Sporting Clube de Portugal with an exclusive collection of 21 pieces.
This limited edition pays homage to the Sporting CP, showcasing the colour of the club and key dates subtly placed on the dial.
This limited edition is part of the Remember collection. A perfect collection for an anniversary celebration, presenting the hour figures in the opposite clockwise direction.
Historically, the hands have always moved in chronological order from 1 to 12, rotating from left to right at the top of the dial and from right to left at the bottom, following the direction of movement of the shadow projected on the horizontal sundial in the northern hemisphere. Thanks to a self winding mechanism, the hour, minute and second hands will follow an unconventional rotation, making a circle in a "counter clockwise" direction. A poetic complication that invites us to take our time, as if we could extend the most beautiful moments of the Sponting CP to infinity.
The Franck Muller Sporting CP Remember 115 Limited Edition, was crafted in a green gold case, and showcases green numerals on its dial as well as the logo of the Sporting Clube de Portugal on the back of the case.
To celabrate the 115th aniversary of the club, symbolic dates and numbers were subtly placed on the dial in hologram. We notice : 1906 the foundation year of Sporting Clube de Portugal, 39 the number of european cups won, 23 as the number of national football championships won, 54 the number of sports disciplines and 146 the number of olympic athletes.
